Jewelry Care Tips

  • Wear your jewelry often. Frequent use of your treasured pieces will help them to stay polished and lovely.  If they do start to tarnish, use a polishing pad or cloth to restore their look.

  • Avoid wearing your jewelry while working in harsh conditions, and before bathing and swimming. Mineral hot springs can especially cause quick tarnishing on silver jewelry.  It is also best to remove your gemstone rings before washing your hands, as many cleansers can discolor or damage more porous stones (looking at you, opal!).

  • Store your jewelry in a safe place when you’re not wearing it and while traveling.  Use the cloth bags your jewelry came in to keep chains from tangling with other necklaces or to keep pieces organized. When you are not wearing your jewelry please store it in a safe spot. A soft upholstered jewelry box is a great dark, dry place to keep your jewelry protected.

  • If your jewelry breaks or is damaged, please contact and we can discuss repairs or replacements.

  • Remember to recycle your jewelry if you no longer want to keep or wear it. We can remove the stones and repurpose the silver for a lovely, new piece of wearable art!
